Harare City coach Lloyd Chitembwe is expected to make some changes in his team to face his former club CAPS United this afternoon following the return of some key players.
The two sides will lock horns at 3 pm in the first round of the Chibuku Super Cup at National Sports Stadium.
The encounter is the second meeting in two weeks after they played each other in the league. City lost the tie 1-0 but were missing the services of skipper Marshal Machazane, Moses Muchenje and Ishmael Wadi through injuries.
The trio is now back and will be available for selection today.
Speaking ahead of the match, Chitembwe said: “I am happy with the fact that the players that did not take part in the league match are all available.
“Moses (Muchenje) and Marshal (Machazane) are also back. We simply did not have the spine in the previous meeting and now that the spine is back that will obviously make our team different altogether.”
Harare City have won the Chibuku Super Cup twice in 2015 and 2017 and reached the final in 2014 and 2018.
