Warriors coach Joey Antipas believes his team will be prepared by the time the CHAN qualifier against Lesotho gets underway on Sunday.
Zimbabwe face the Crocodiles in the final round of the qualifiers at National Sports Stadium in Harare.
Speaking on Thursday, the gaffer said they are still trying to come up with combinations but the players are responding well.
“The good thing is that the boys are responding well, which is a positive thing,” said Antipas, according to The Chronicle. “I would say the combinations are coming up slowly but, surely, and I believe by Sunday we should have achieved that.
“We all know that Lesotho are no pushovers, so we need to go there with the right mentality, the right attitude and the willingness to win.”
The Warriors have been in camp since Monday and more players, who featured in the midweek league fixtures, joined the rest of the team on Wednesday evening.
