CAPS United coach Darlington Dodo has explained how his charges managed to come out with a positive result against his former senior, Lloyd Chitembwe who is now coaching Harare City.
The Green Machine moved back to the top of the table after edging out the Sunshine Boys 1-0. Newman Sianchali scored the all-important goal in the 6th, firing home from inside the box.
City, on the other end, never made threatening raids and were well contained by the visitors for the better part of the game.
Speaking after the match, Dodo said: “We knew having worked together with Lloyd, our play was not going to be very different.
“So we had our way, we played a high pressing game and frustrated them.
“Their defenders became jittery and we managed to score. I would like to applaud the players for their spirit.”
