Tinotenda Kadewere’s scoring run came to an end over the weekend in his team, Le Havre’s 0-0 draw against Paris FC in the Ligue 2.
The striker had scored in each of the league games he played this season, hitting a brace on three occasions.
He played the entire ninety-minute, his fifth start in six games.
Another France-based Zimbabwean, Marshall Munetsi featured over the weekend but just for five minutes in Stade de Reims 1-0 defeat at Nantes. The 23-year-old only made his debut before the international break and is yet to make his first start at the club.
In Turkey, Teenage Hadebe was an unused substitute when his Yeni Malatyaspor beat MKE Ankaragücü 4-1 in the Super League.
Hadebe had started in the previous games and dropping to the bench on Sunday was due to his involvement in the Warriors games against Somalia on Tuesday.
England based striker Admiral Muskwe was subbed off in the second half when Leicester City U23s lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the Premier League 2.
In China, Nyasha Mushekwi netted yet a brace in Zhejiang Greentown’s 3-2 win away to Xinjiang Tianshan over the weekend.
The Zimbabwean opened the scoring for his side with only 5 minutes on the clock and restored his side’s lead in the 49th minute after Tiashan had equalized in the 20th minute.
This was Mushekwi’s third brace in quick succession and he also scored his side’s opener against Nei Mongol before the international break.
