Zimbabwe’s representatives in the CAF interclub competitions fared well in the games played over the weekend.
In Champions League, FC Platinum beat UD Songo 1-0 in the first leg of the first round encounter at Barbourfields Stadium. Never Tigere scored the solitary goal in the 21st minute.
Triangle United also picked a 1-0 win in their match against Azam of Tanzania in the Confederation Cup, thanks to a first-half strike by Ralph Kawondera.
