Zimbabwe-born Tivonge Rushesha has made his senior debut at Swansea at just 17 years old.
The full-back came on as a substitute in the 67th minute of the 6-0 win over Cambridge United in the second round of the League Cup on Wednesday.
Rushesha has been on the rise at the Championship side and his breakthrough came a few weeks ago when he was named in the senior team’s match-day squad but was an unused substitute.
He hasn’t been capped at any level by his adoptive country Wales and is still eligible to feature for Zimbabwe.
