Le Havre striker Tinotenda Kadewere remains grounded after making headlines in the French Ligue 2.
The Zimbabwean has scored eight goals in five games, and on Friday netted his third brace of the season in the 3-1 victory over Grenoble Foot. He is currently leading on the scoring chart in the second division.
The 23-year-old’s goals have helped the team to remain undefeated as it occupies the second place on the log.
“I thank God for the form I am in. I would like to continue on this trajectory,” said Kadewere, according to the Herald.
“I would like to thank everyone at the club, but we still have a lot of work to do. It’s still early days, but we will continue working hard.”
Kadewere moved to France last year but managed to score only six goals in all competitions in his debut season which was affected by injuries.
