FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza says the victory against Harare City is a boost for the team after a difficult Champions League outing in Malawi last weekend.
The Platinum Boys beat City 2-0 in a match-day 18 encounter played at Mandava Stadium on Wednesday.
Never Tigere and Perfect Chikwende scored in either half as the Zvishavane side opened a four-point gap on top of the log standings.
“The win is good for us considering that we are just coming from a difficult match in Malawi,” Mapeza said after the match.
“We kept our shape and in the second half created so many chances. I am happy with such improvements in the team. This win is important as far as building morale in the team.”
