Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly made a record-breaking offer to Kaizer Chiefs for winger Khama Billiat.

The Pretoria-based club confirmed on Tuesday that they are in talks to re-sign the Zimbabwe international who left the club a year ago as a free agent.

According to Soccer Laduma, Sundowns have a tabled an incredible R15-million in an attempt to conclude negotiations.

A few weeks ago there was also talk of a player swap being part of the deal, meaning Amakhosi would get cash plus one player, or maybe even two.

Should Amakhosi accept the R15-million offer, it would be the country’s record transfer fee between two South African clubs.
