Zimbabwe international Elvis Chipezeze might have had a catapstophic performance during the Warriors’ defeat to DRC at AFCON 2019, prompting for suggestions of match fixing by some local fans but at his club Baroka, supporters still love him.
The former Chicken Inn shot-stopper made costly errors in the last group game which the Warriors needed to win and has not been a fan favorite since then, but at the Ga-Mphahlele-based side, it’s the complete opposite.
A video taken over the weekend, ย of Baroka fans singing and chanting Chipezeze’s name while the goalkeeper responded by dancing, has emerged and a post on the club’s Twitter page even suggested that he is ‘still the supporters’ favorite’.
