The Young Mighty Warriors advanced to the semifinal stage of the COSAFA U20 Women’s Championship after they thumped Namibia by 4 goals to nil today.

Talent Bizeki put Zimbabwe ahead from close range in the 16th minute before Dinah Banda capitalised  on a mix up between the Namibia goalkeeper and a defender to make it 2 nil.

In the 38th minute, Praynence Zvawanda extended the lead when she headed in a rebound after the Namibian goalie spilled a cross.

Banda completed her brace on the stroke of half time with a wonderful solo effort.

Namibia came back a little more organised in midfield but the damage had already been done.

The Young Mighty Warriors finish the group stage in second position of Group A with six points.
