Zimbabwean winger Kudakwashe Mahachi has left Orlando Pirates, just one season after he joined the Soweto giants.
The 25-year who failed to command a first team jersy during his season-long stay moves to SuperSport United along with Thamsanqa Gabuza.
Pirates confirmed the transfer of the pair on Thursday afternoon.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club has reached an agreement with SuperSport United for the services of Kudakwashe Mahachi and Thamsanqa Gabuza,” reads the statement on the club’s website.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club would like to thank SuperSport United for the professional manner that these negotiations were held.”
Mahachi who is currently in Egypt for Afcon with the national team will play alongside fellow Zimbabweans at SuperSport that include Evans Rusike, Onismor Bhasera and keeper Washington Arubi.
Former Warriors international Kaitano Tembo will be his mentor.
