Alvin Zhakata will not be able to attend Zimbabwe’s first game of the 2019 Afcon campaign tonight.

The Warriors fan is travelling across Africa to Egypt by road and was hoping to finish his adventure before the start of the tournament but faced a couple of obstacles along the way which delayed his arrival.

He spent six days stuck at the Kenyan border where he was refused entry into Ethiopia due to visa issues.

Zhakata is currently in Addis Ababa and will leave the Ethiopian capital soon on his way to Sudan, his final transit country before reaching Egypt.

Meanwhile, the Warriors’ game is on at 10 pm CAT, and it will be live on SuperSport 4A and 10A.
