Reigning Champions FC Platinum are assessing two foreign internationals as they seek to reinforce their squad in the mid-season transfer window.
Coach Norman Mapeza revealed this at a presser on Thursday ahead of their league match with Bulawayo Chiefs on Saturday.
“We have some guys who are here on trials, they came here on Tuesday and we are still assessing them,” Mapeza said.
“But I have to be honest with you, we need someone to bang in those goals, not only one player but maybe two players.
“Maybe if we can have a central striker and attacking midfielder, someone in the calibre of Rodwell (Chinyengetere) though it is not easy to find someone like.
“But those are the type of players we need because we have been creating opportunities but failing to score.”
FC Platinum’s front line currently has Charles Sibanda, Mkokheli Dube, Cameroonian Albert Eonde and Lameck Nhamo who arrived at the club early this year.
