Ngezi Platinum Stars coach Erol Akbay was not happy with the condition of the pitch at Rufaro Stadium during their Match-day 9 encounter against Dynamos on Sunday.
The game ended in a goalless stalemate but it was the home team who controlled the play and created a host of chances which they all missed.
Madamburo, at the other end, never made any threatening efforts at goal and much on counter attacks in the second half.
Speaking after the match, the Dutchman, however, also felt relief for managing a draw against the Glamour Boys.
“We played wrong balls and wrong passes all because of the bumpy pitch,” Akbay said. “That’s why in the second half we resorted to long balls.
“We didn’t play our football, but I’m happy with one point although I feel we could have done better.”
The result stretched Ngezi’s winless run to three matches.
