FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza has admitted the difficulty in filling the void left by Rodwell Chinyengetere who departed for South Africa in January.
Chinyengetere was the top scorer at the reigning champions for two consecutive years, and after his departure, the Zvishavane based-side struggled in attack at first but later picked up.
However, Mapeza thinks the perfect replacement to take the role is still to come.
“When Rodwell left, I knew we would get challenges, but at the end of the day, you don’t want to look down upon the guys left.
“We just need to give them an opportunity and keep telling them that it can happen, this is what he did, you can do the same.”
FC Platinum have scored twelve goals this season, one less than what they netted at this point last campaign.
