Edmore Chirambadare has left NFD side Maccabi FC but the club’s coach Joel Masutha is not aware of the development.
Chirambadare joined the National First Division side as a free agent in August 2018 after being released by Kaizer Chiefs in June.
According to Kick-Off.com, the 27-year-old is said to be currently negotiating with a team in the Absa Premiership.
“Chirambadare is a free agent,” the player’s agent Mike Ngobeni told the news website.
“End of contract, we’re working on something. I can’t give teams’ yet, but next week we’ll give you. Let me secure a contract first.”
But Masutha says he was not aware of this new development.
“Hey I’m not sure you know, I’m not sure. Where is he going [laughs]? As for me, I know nothing. Maybe they will inform me when the time is right, but so far no, nothing,” the coach said.
