Madinda Ndlovu says he can’t explain how Highlanders dropped points on Sunday in a match they dominated throughout.
Bosso were undoubtedly the better side in the goalless draw against Hwange at Barbourfields Stadium. They restricted the visitors in their half for the majority of the game and created several chances.
But the Bulawayo giants were still stuck in the deadlock at the final whistle, something that Madinda failed to explain after the game.
“There are things that you can’t explain. I don’t know how I can explain this result where you create so many scoring chances, but still, fail to bury them. I feel pity for my boys, but we know that scoring is an individual skill, you can’t train it,” he said.
Highlanders remain rooted in the relegation zone and have dropped to 16th position. They are still to win this term, gaining just four points from six matches.
