The Warriors will face Nigeria in a friendly ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations. The Warriors are in Group A with hosts Egypt, Uganda and DRC.
The Warriors qualified as Group winners and will get a chance to face one of the African giants to fine tune their preps.
According to the Nigeria FA, Sunday Chidzambwa’s charges will face the Super Eagles on June 8 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Nigeria.
Speaking about Nigeria’s plans ahead of the continental showcase Nigeria FA president Amaju Pinnick said in a statement “We have sealed the matches with the Warriors of Zimbabwe and the Lions of Teranga and these are two matches we are really looking forward. “
Nigeria are in Group B and will face Burundi,Madagascar and Guinea.
