Baroka FC supporters have fallen in love with Elvis Chipezeze after the goalkeeper saved the day for the Limpopo side several times as the team creeped out of the relegation zone in the final stages of the season.
Since his arrival at the club in July last year, the 29-year-old former Chicken Inn goalie has taken the Absa Premiership by storm, bagging a couple of Man of the Match awards and getting rare mentioning from several coaches though some still don’t like his antics whenever his team has an advantage.
In the twenty-eight league appearances he has made so far, Chipezeze has managed to keep six clean sheets, a record which is not bad considering the team’s overall display. His latest clean sheet came over the weekend when Baroka beat Amazulu 1-0.
