The 2019 AFCON organising committee has announced the ticket prices for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations set for Egypt from June 21 to July 19.
Zimbabwe is among the 24 teams at the tournament and will start their campaign on the opening match-day against the hosts. They will play Uganda on the 26th of the month then finish the group stage with a date against DRC four days later.
For those preparing to cheer the Warriors in Egypt, the cheapest ticket for the opening encounter and all games involving the hosting nation has been pegged at EGP 200 which is approximately US$ 11 while the most expensive one is going for EGP 2,500 (approx. $145).
All other games have been priced at a range between EGP 100 (approx. $6) – EGP 500 ( approx. $30).
Each ticket will entitle the owner to attend two matches on the same day in the same stadium.
However, some reports from the North African country are suggesting that the prices could be reviewed downwards following a wide negative reaction from the home fans.
