Injury woes hit FC Platinum ahead of Hwange tie

FC Platinum have suffered an injury blow ahead of the Castle Lager Premiership Match-day 4 encounter against Hwange this afternoon.

The reigning champions who dropped points in the previous round against Moshawane Stars will be without four players when they seek to return to winning ways.

Coach Norman Mapeza confirmed that Kelvin Madzongwe, Rahman Kutsanzira, William Stima are out while goalkeeper Wallace Magalane is still to recover from an injury sustained a few weeks ago.

“We have Madzongwe, Rahman, Stima and Magalane. I think those are the guys who are out, but I am sure next week they will be back.

“It’s a setback because those are the guys who have been doing well for us. I hope they will be back in time for our clash against Chicken Inn next week,” said Mapeza.

Meanwhile, Hwange will be looking to maintain their perfect start to the season. Kick-off is at 3 pm at Mandava Stadium.
