Warriors and Orlando Pirates winger has started a foundation aimed at giving support to the elderly in his home town, Bulawayo.
The former Mzilikazi High School student announced the news on his Facebook handle on Thursday.
According to the post, Mahachi says the initiative, named The Mahachi Foundation, will give support to those based in the suburbs of Makokoba and Mzilikazi. The player, however didn’t give too much details on the project or confirm if all the registration papers are all in place.
Mahachi who is 24-years old started his football journey in Bulawayo as a junior player at Highlanders before moving to Bantu Rovers where his senior career took off. He later joined Chicken Inn in 2013 and left the club the following year to cross the border to South Africa.
