Highlanders are yet to appoint a captain despite the 2019 season getting underway last weekend.
Honest Moyo who moved to South Africa in January was the skipper in the last campaign while his vice Gabriel Nyoni also left the club to join CAPS United.
According to the Chronicle, Bosso CEO Nhlanhla Dube said that they are still looking for the right person to wear the armband this season and once a decision is reached, they will make an announcement.
“The technical team hasn’t chosen the captain. Whoever wears the armband on the day is the captain. Before choosing a captain, naturally, there is a process that the technical team does to come up with a candidate that they think has the best attributes to be the captain for the season. So once a captain is named, the technical team will make the announcement,” said Dube.
Full-back McClive Phiri captained the team on Sunday when they played to a 1-1 draw against Black Rhinos in the season opener.
