Harare City coach Mark Harrison thinks FC Platinum had the upper hand in their season opener on Friday since they have been active, playing in CAF Champions League.
The Sunshine Boys suffered a 2-0 home defeat which is their first in the tie since 2014.
“They were sharp because they have been playing in Caf competitions for the last two to three months. We are just coming off pre-season, and it will probably take us two to three games to get in shape,” said the coach.
Ali Sadiki opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, capitalising on a defensive error by Raymond Uchena. Elvis Moyo sealed the victory nine minutes before full-time, finishing off a quick move with a tap-in.
