Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe says he wants to help the team to win the match against Congo and qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations in memory of his mother.
Hadebe’s mother collapsed and died just before the campaign’s opener against Liberia at the National Sports Stadium in 2017.
“I would have loved to see her in the stands cheering me, but that was not to be. She will forever be in my heart because she supported me through thick and thin. Where ever she is, I know she is looking down upon me, and I would like to make her happy by winning this match,” said Hadebe.
The Warriors just need at least a draw to qualify for Egypt. Kick-off is at 3 pm.
