Zifa has announced when the Warriors coach, Sunday Chidzambwa, will announce the provisional squad for the Afcon qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.

The release of the squad was supposed to be done two weeks ago but deferred to a later date due to the executive’s visit to South Africa.

According to a statement on the Zifa’s website, Chidzambwa will announce the provisional selection tomorrow at Monomutapa Hotel in Harare.

“… the provisional squad for the Warriors’ AFCON qualifier against Congo will be announced on 5 March at Monomotapa Hotel.

“The event will be held at 12 noon in the Great Indaba room,” reads the statement.

Meanwhile, Chidzambwa has reportedly retained the majority of the players that featured in the previous qualifiers with Macauley Bonne and Kelvin Lunga among the few additions on the list.

The match is set for National Sports Stadium in Harare on the 24th of March.
