SuperSport United forward Evans Rusike will be out of action for three weeks, coach Kaitano Tembo has confirmed.
The 28-year-old sustained a knee injury during a league match against Cape Town City on Saturday.
In an interview with Kick-Off, Tembo lamented Rusike’s injury by was optimistic of the return of captain Dean Furman who has been on the sidelines since October.
“Rusike’s got a knee injury and is now out probably for two to three weeks. That has been our season.
“Probably we will get Dean, Brad and Thabo [back] in the coming weeks. We need them, we missed them,” said the Zimbabwean gaffer.
Meanwhile, SuperSport will play away to Black Leopards in their next match. The Pretoria-based club is currently in the 7th position.
