Highlanders vice-captain Gabriel Nyoni has followed the footsteps of international stars like Cristiano Ronaldo in launching his brand of apparels.
The 26-year-old, who holds a degree in Marketing from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), announced his new endeavour on Twitter this week, seeking investors to expand his sportswear brand, GN27.
“This is my own sportswear brand #GN27. Looking for an investor & patner in my work⚽🙏Support your fellow Zim soccer player, like & retweet until it reaches an interested investor🙇It takes the whole community to develop a person,” said Nyoni on Twitter.

The GN27 comes from his initials and the jersey number just like Ronaldo’s CR7 Denim for Men & Boys and underwears.
Former England international David Beckham and his wife, Victoria, also have their fashion line and fragrance range.
In South Africa Teko Modise, Itumeleng Khune and Lehlohonolo Majoro have developed their labels as well.
