Tinotenda Kadewere went on target again for his side Le Havre AC in a 5-1 win over Villers Houlg in the French Cup on Saturday.
The 22-year-old, who scored his debut goal for the club last week, came on as a substitute in the 84th minute and sealed the triumph a minute later after connecting a corner kick.
Kadewere has so far made five appearances in all competition for the French Ligue 2 side.
In England, Tendayi Darikwa was also in action over the weekend when his Nottingham Forest suffered a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Preston North End.
The full-back played the whole ninety minutes, but his contribution could not help his team avoid the loss. The Zimbabwe international has played the entire minutes in the last ten games.
Macauley Bonne made his 24th league start for Leyton Orient this season in 1-0 defeat to Boreham Wood. He is still on top of the scoring chart with seventeen goals.
Bradford City left-back Adam Chicksen and Andrew Rinomhota (Reading) also played for the respective teams over the weekend.
Belgium based midfielder Marvelous Nakamba continues to enjoy more game time at Club Brugge, but the same can’t be said about his fellow countryman Knowledge Musona.
Musona was again left out of the Anderlecht squad that drew 1-1 against Charleroi. The lack of game time has seen the frustration growing on the Warriors skipper, and reports emerged last week suggest that he wants to move away from the club in January.
As for Nakamba, his performances have reportedly attracted the interest of two Italian clubs, Torino and Fiorentina. He featured for 87 minutes on Friday in 2-1 loss against relegation-threatened Waasland-Beveren.
