Highlands Park coach Owen da Gama is happy with new signing Tendai Ndoro’s impact at the club.
Ndoro scored his debut goal over the weekend in a 2-0 victory against Cape Town City, and he has also provided an assist in last week’s 2-1 loss to AmaZulu.
“We were on the back foot a little bit, and we said let’s unleash Tendai, it will unsettle them a little bit. And it did unsettle them, and he could have had two there,” da Gama told KickOff.
“But I’m very happy for Tendai. I’m happy with his attitude, his spirit, his contribution as a senior player to the rest of the players – the way he motivates and talks to them. So Tendai, he has been absolutely a plus to this team.”
The former Ajax Cape Town striker only returned to competitive action last month after serving a ban for representing three clubs last season, in contravention of FIFA rules.
