Triangle coach Taurayi Mangwiro reckons that his team lacked firepower upfront in their 2-0 defeat to FC Platinum in the Castle Challenge Cup at Mandava Stadium on Sunday.
The coach also felt lady luck was not on their side as they were twice denied by the woodwork.
“Congratulations to FC Platinum they were the hungrier side and converted their chances. We wasted some opportunities that we should have scored.
“Collins Dhuwa had three glorious chances he should have scored, and that would have changed the complexion of the match,” said Mangwiro.
Triangle fell to strikes from William Sitima and Thomas Chideu to lose the match which is contested by league champions and Chibuku Super Cup winners.
