Dynamos have renewed their interest in Kalisto Pasuwa to replace Lloyd Mutasa as head coach.
Soccer24 has it on good authority that the executive this week sounded Pasuwa to return to the club where he won four straight titles before an unceremonious exit because of frosty relations with then-president Keni Mubaiwa.
“The executive called Pasuwa this week so that he could come and rescue the team from its current position as well as start building the team for next season. But like what has been his position, Pasuwa is still insisting that he doesn’t want to be seen as backstabbing Mutasa and is dragging his feet,” said a source at the club.
“Maybe he might finally agree as there is a lot of pressure from some powerful people who are forcing him to use his experience and save the club from going down to division 1.”
Meanwhile, some of the coaches that have been touted to replace Mutasa include former midfielder Naison Muchekela while Moses Chunga is also having his candidature being thrown around.
