Khama Billiat, Matthew Rusike and Butholezwe Ncube were on target in the ABSA Premiership over the weekend.
Billiat earned the Man of the Match award after scoring a brace in Kaizer Chiefs’ first victory of the season. The Soweto Giants beat Cape Town City 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Rusike who once played for Chiefs scored the consolation for City with a header in the first period while Billiat netted Amakhosi’s second goal in the 50th minute before he added another one in the 79th minute.

Midfielder Willard Katsande also featured in the clash and assisted the opener which was scored by Siyabonga Ngezana early in the game. Teenage Hadebe, however, was not part of the squad.
Amazulu’s Ncube opened the scoring in his team’s 3-3 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.
The 26-year-old fired a low drive from outside the box in the 4th minute. The goal was his first in the league since his arrival at Usuthu in 2016.
Baroka goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze made his second appearance for the club in 1-0 defeat to Chippa United. Team-mate Talent Chawapiwa was in the first XI and played for 37 minutes before he was subbed off.
SuperSport United forward Evans Rusike featured for the whole ninety minutes while full-back Onismor Bhasera was an unused sub when they lost to Orlando Pirates.
Pirates winger Kuda Mahachi was on the bench for the whole encounter.
Golden Arrrors trio of Devine Lunga, Knox Mutizwa and Danny Phiri featured against Tapuwa Kapini’ Highlands Park.
Goalkeeper George Chigova and forward Walter Musona were also in action over the weekend as Polokwane City beat Free State Stars.
