Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas has become the latest coach to blame match officials after Highlanders’ Madinda Ndlovu expressed the same sentiments during the midweek league action.
The Gamecocks lost 2-1 to Caps United on Wednesday, conceding a 5th-minute goal from the spot.
Referee Nkosana Nduna’s decision left Antipas in disbelief as the gaffer thinks the penalty was dubious.
“That was not a penalty. It was a 50-50 challenge which took place outside the box. The referees are killing the game. They have agendas,” fumed Antipas after the game.
However, his opposite number Lloyd Chitembwe was happy with the result.
“I’m happy that my players applied themselves well. I’m satisfied with what we have done this season after losing about 12 players in the last two seasons,” said Chitembwe.
