There is a new twist in Nyasha Mushekwi’s saga regarding his availability for the Warriors game on Sunday.

The China-based striker is, actually, not part of the squad set to travel to Congo.

Contrary to the earlier report, Mushekwi is still injured and only came to Zimbabwe to present his medical reports to the technical team.

ZIFA had announced yesterday that the former CAPS United player was fit and would join the rest of the team in camp. However, that will not happen.

So Nyasha Mushekwi came all the way China to Zimbabwe to show the technical team his medical reports and also he had the guts of saying his club is making arrangement of him to get the treatment during the FIFA international break.

The news is a blow as a couple of players have since withdrawn due to injuries. The likes of midfielder Marvelous Nakamba, Ovidy Kararu, Tinotenda Chibharo and Costa Nhamoinesu are all out of the tie.
