In form striker, Nyasha Mushekwi is a doubt for the 2019 AFCON Qualifier against Congo next month.

Mushekwi might miss the encounter due to an injury and Golden Arrows forward Knox Mutizwa has since been called in.

His team-mate Dany Phiri also comes in to join the provisional squad ahead of the camp which begins on September 3.

Mushekwi earned his first call-up since 2017 after his ban was lifted by ZIFA. The 30-year-old was suspended for indiscipline after reportedly incited other players to snub a farewell dinner arranged by the government before they left for the 2017 AFCON tournament.

Zimbabwe will face their Group G opponents in Brazzaville on September 9.
