Bekithemba Ndlovu will be appointed the substantive club coach of Bulawayo City if he manages to save the team from getting relegated this season.
Ndlovu took over the reins on an interim basis in July after the sacking of Amini Soma Phiri. His first game in charge ended in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of FC Platinum.
“We have given him (Ndlovu) a task, and if he does well and saves us from relegation he will get the job. We still believe the team will do well,” said City chairman Jerry Sibanda.
Amakhosi who also parted ways with another mentor, Darlington Dodo, early in the season are swimming deeper into relegation waters.
In the previous campaign, Bulawayo City survived the chop on the last day after they hammered hapless Bantu Rovers 5-0.
