Kaizer Chiefs winger Khama Billiat says he wants his team to forget about the past trophyless campaigns and start winning silverware in this season.
Billiat recently completed a switch to the Soweto Giants on a free transfer after his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns expired at the end of June.
Speaking after his first league game in Chiefs colours, Billiat who was named the Man of the match in the encounter urged his new team to move on.
“I want to thank everyone who came in their numbers to support the team. It has been tough for the past three years, but it’s now water under the bridge.
“We are ready for the new league (season).”
Amakhosi kicked off their 2018-19 season with a 1-1 draw against Sundowns on Saturday. Ramahlwe Mphahlele opened the scoring on the 8th minute before Ricardo Nascimento converted a penalty to equalise for Amasandawana.
