Farai Jere will not hold the post of the chairperson of the Premier Soccer League after the Electoral Committee rendered the nomination process null and void.
Jere was the only candidate vying for the post to replace Keni Mubaiwa. However, after the elections which were held on Saturday, the Electoral Committee said there were irregularities on the nomination.
The election is now set to take place on the 9th of September 2018.
Meanwhile, Barbara Chikosi garnered 11 votes against Rosemary Kanonge’s 4 votes to land the Zimbabwe Women Soccer League top post.
The elections for the Executive Committee Members of Beach Soccer have been postponed to a date to be advised because the Electoral Committee determined that there was no properly constituted electoral college.
