The South African Premier Soccer League has confirmed a way forward in Ajax Cape Town’s Tendai Ndoro matter.
Ajax was last week reinstated back into the ABSA Premiership league following a court ruling. The Urban Warriors had been relegated to NFD after points were deducted for using an ineligible player, Ndoro.
Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday afternoon, league Chairman, Ivirn Khoza said they will appeal the court ruling.
“We will first appeal the matter and go to Judge Fischer to request leave (to) appeal. Should we fail in this regard, we will then go to (the) FIFA Players Status Committee,” said Khoza.
The chairman also added that whatever events is set to take place in the coming days, the league will in no doubt kick off on August 04.
