CAPS United trio of Milton Ncube, Peter ‘Rio’ Moyo and goalkeeper Munyaradzi Diya has been linked with a move to Bulawayo City.
According to The Chronicle, the three players want to leave the Harare Giants because the club owes them substantial amounts of sign-on-fees, salaries and winning bonuses.
City are looking to bolster their squad, and coach Amini Soma-Phiri has already revealed that they will add new players during the mid-season transfer window.
Diya is seen as one of the possible replacements for suspended goalkeepers Takudzwa Ndoro and Aaron Ngwenya.
Amakhosi chairman Jerry Sibanda confirmed the suspension of the duo but declined to comment on Moyo, Ncube and Diya.
“At City, we don’t condone indiscipline and that is why Ndoro and Ngwenya were suspended pending disciplinary hearings. As for player transfers, the window just opened, and we will sit down and map the way forward,” said Sibanda.
