Shabanie Mine are considering roping in Moses Chunga to take over the head coach post following the resignation of Takesure Chiragwi two weeks ago.
According to Sunday Mail, club chairman Tavaziva Mhloro confirmed that they want Chunga who watched from the terraces as the Chinda Boys held Herentals FC to a one-all draw on Saturday.
“It’s good to see him (Chunga) around, he is one of the coaches that we are considering to take over the post, and if all goes well then he will take over during the mid-season break,” he said.
However, the former Dynamos coach professed ignorance on the matter, saying he was yet to hear from the Midlands-based outfit.
“I am here to watch the match, and I think they are a good side which needs a few touch-ups.
“However, I am yet to hear from them (Shabanie Mine FC),” said Chunga.
