Goalkeeper George Chigova has received praises from President Emmerson D. Mnangagwa.
The 27-year-old goalie made five penalty-saves in the last two COSAFA Cup encounters, helping Zimbabwe reach the final for the second time in a row.
Chigova saved two kicks last night which gave the Warriors a 3-1 win over Lesotho and the president could not hold his joy.
ED Mnangagwa also congratulated the Mighty Warriors who beat Zambia in the first leg of the AWCON qualifiers – final round.
As we currently debate which candidate has the safest hands for Zimbabwe, we can all agree the answer is without a doubt George Chigova, the Warriors heroic goalkeeper who has saved FIVE penalties this week to get the Warriors into the COSAFA Cup final! pic.twitter.com/hs836N8P5F
