Mutare City Rovers has fired coach Joseph Takaringofa for poor results.

The club made the move on Wednesday, two days after the team lost 2-1 against Triangle.

It was Mutare City’s eighth straight match without a victory in the league.

Takaringofa leaves the club in 18th place in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League , the last spot guaranteeing a trip back to Division One.

Chapungu coach Rodwell Dhlakama is highly tipped to take over the reigns.
