ABSA Premiership outfit Golden Arrows have offloaded striker Thomas Chideu.
The Zimbabwe international (21) failed to make an impact since joining the side in October last year as a free agent after he was released by Ajax Cape Town. He made seven appearance in all competitions, scoring twice.
Also leaving the club is another Zimbabwean, Kudakwashe Mahachi who completed a permanent move to Orlando Pirates.
The 24-year old winger spent the last seasons on loan at the Durban-based side from his parent club Mamelodi Sundowns.
“Thomas Chideu has been released and Kuda Mahachi is leaving to Orlando Pirates, like we all know,” Arrows coach Clinton Larsen told KickOff.com.
“It’s always hard to lose a quality player (Mahachi) like that, I rate him very highly.
“We had a very good working relationship. He really performed well for the club and we are going to miss him but life goes on … this is the nature of football. We’ll continue to fight without him.”
