FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza says the two early goals against Dynamos helped them ease the pressure of picking up a victory after log leaders, Ngezi had opened a six-point gap on Saturday.
Pure Platinum Play exhibited top-class football, dominating possession from the onset until the last minute of their 2-0 win at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday. Rodwell Chinyengetere stole the show when he scored both goals in the opening quarter hour of the game.
“After what happened yesterday (on Saturday) with Ngezi winning, we had to play the game under pressure,” Mapeza said.
“Those two early goals settled our nerves, and it became much easier to play.”
FC Platinum are now on 29 points, three behind Ngezi who are yet to lose a match in this campaign.
