Polokwane City goalkeeper George Chigova was taken off the field on the half-hour mark following a collision with Bidvest Wits striker James Keene on Saturday.

The 27-year old shot stopper had made a good save moments before his departure, denying Vincent Pule in the 10th minute. His team-mate Walter Musona returned to the first XI, playing the whole ninety minutes of the league encounter.

Former CAPS United striker Dominic Chungwa come on as a substitute in the 67th minute.

Willard Katsande featured in Kaizer Chiefs’ 0-2 loss to Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.

Teenage Hadebe was not part of the Chiefs squad.

Khama Billiat also missed action over the weekend as his Mamelodi Sundowns lost 1-3 to Maritzburg United in the same round of the tournament.
