CAPS United coach Lloyd Chitembwe says he saw a lot of improvements in his team’s performance against Harare City but rues the lack of composure in front of the goal.
The Green Machine played to a goalless draw despite dominating possession. Brian Muzondiwa, John Zhuwawo and Simba Nhivi all got good scoring opportunities, but they failed to convert one.
“I saw a lot of improvements in different areas. The dominance was there, what lacked was composure in front of the goal maybe it was because of anxiety,” Chitembwe said after the game.
“I think it’s something we can work on. But I am very happy especially with so many aspects of the game considering the fact that this was our first game of the season and we still have a long way to go.”
CAPS United will face Bulawayo Chiefs away in their Match-day Two encounter.
