Chicken Inn coach Joel Antipas has showered praises on midfielder Simon Munawa following their narrow 1-0 win over Dynamos on Saturday.
Obadiah Tarumbwa scored the only goal of the match in the 51st minute after being set up by Innocent Muchaneka.
Munawa was playing his first league game for the Gamecocks since arriving at the club early this year after he was released by Highlanders.
Speaking after the game, Antipas said Munawa was brilliant in the midfield.
“It was a team effort, but Simon played a blinder in midfield,” said the Chicken Inn coach.
“We had a slow start, but gradually grew into the game and managed to hold out for the win. It’s a good start but we won’t celebrate for long, the focus turns to the game against Nichruit.”
